Media Data Services, Inc. (Media), a New Jersey corporation, was founded in 1980 as a payroll service bureau by Joseph V. Fazio, who served as President up until January 1, 2023. Mr. Fazio was joined in 1984 by Dan DeCando, Vice President. In 2009, the company purchased the assets of Atlantic Payroll Services, which became part of Media. In January 2024, Media Data Services, Inc. was purchased by Media Data Solutions LLC.
The Company’s primary focus is to offer business owners an alternative to large, multi-national payroll companies. We believe that small and medium-sized business owners do not receive the personal attention that they desire and deserve from large payroll providers. Media currently services approximately 700 accounts and offers payroll and employer administrative services. Media’s accounts are primarily located in New Jersey. Our clients participate in various industries and have employees that range from 1-200.
